I can't really remember the last time I painted, the thought seems so foreign to me now, yet it used to be the thing that consumed most of my time. This piece was inspired by some people I used to work with when I interned about 2 years ago. I always meant to photograph it and show you guys, but my laziness got the better of me. Either way I don't think I'll be painting on a scale as large as this for a very long time, it's very time consuming and surprisingly not as fulfilling as the little sketches I tend to do in my A5 diary. This may be because I can get more detail in diary and I don't have to stay in one place for too long (like I did with this one). But regardless of all that and for what its worth, it looks super nice in my otherwise fairly plain (but messy) room. And so having this piece in said room, what more was there left to do but position myself in front of my art and pose...like *real* artists do, or course.
