I felt sick with pleasure, as I bit into an artery-clogging Biskie from Cutter and Squidge in Soho (London).
I'm one of those weird people that don't like things like cake, chocolate or icecream. I suppose it's because they're not quite sweeties like Haribos or lollipops, and more often than not have the capability to leave you sick and bloated (lactose intolerance anyone?). But I bit the bullet this time and reluctantly tried the infamous Salted Caramel biskie, and my eyes almost welled up with pleasure and disdain at the same time. Pleasure because it tasted incredibly rich and lovely, disdain because my arteries were crying from the fat that was now running rampant and free through them. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this once-in-a-decade treat, especially because of how pretty they look too. So much for my healthy eating plan this year, I've broken more healthy habits this year than any other time of my life! Hence my once *nearly* rock solid abs making a run for it, leaving me with a squidgy soft belly and a jiggly arse. The term 'letting go' has never been truer!
