Prayer changes things

A few years ago there was this terrible incident that took place here in England. A model and television presenter Katie Piper from Hampshire (England) suffered a horrible attack in which sulphuric acid was thrown in her face - Fuelled by her abusive and jealous ex-boyfriend. As a result all the skin from her face was removed and she was blinded in one eye (read full story here or here)

Most people (in UK?) know about the story of the upcoming superstar Katie Piper and there was an uproar here in England about, the two men who commited the crime (including the boyfriend) were sent to jail without thought. As everyone thought they should. Though this story is horrible and disgusting, it's not the first.

Katie Piper's survived looking close to how she looked before and on top of that she's gained publicity and is finally reaching her lifelong goal. But for those this has happened to, life isn't such a fairytale...

I found these four stories on tumblr and decided to share them with you all.Their stories set a weight on my heart, and no this isn't only a time for remembering how much we take everything for granted, this is a time for prayer, it's always a time for prayer, prayer never stops and it shouldn't stop regardless. So I urge you to pray on the behalf of these people. They may seem far away to you but but God builds a bridge over our distance. Through God their lives will change...Because... Prayer changes things.
