You knew it was coming! A post about Fathers and how great they are and such...
I'm not big on these kind of celebrations (Heck I never even celebrate my own birthday!) so I'll keep this short and strawberry sweet.
On this day most people recall their greatest memories of their heroes, but for the rest of our fathers, lets just say the Kryptonite was just too strong. This day in particular brings out so many heart wrenching but common stories. I had a completely different approach planned in my head as to how to write this post. But I stopped dead in my tracks. Finding this statement from Twitter "it is Fathers Day not 'Be Bitter' day" altered my perception of this day. So I'm not going to be... Bitter that is. I'll save it. The greatest father I have is God, this is what I will cling to on this Fathers day.
"To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God."-John 1:12-13,
Hope you guys had a good weekend!
