I realise I haven't written anything properly in ages, instead I've been documenting these 'outfit' posts, which I'm really really enjoying! I'm slowing coming out of my "I hate pictures" phase. Finally!
I'm still a bit iffy when it comes to other people taking photos of me - but I'm working on it. This year, I really wanna be shameless! I've decided to slow down and really enjoy being young and playful. Smile, skip, no time for sheksy smiles, just genuine ones. For a long time, I dressed in a way that I felt was professional and not too attention seeking. Being a freelance designer right now, I'm always the youngest in the board room. I'd try to match up to what everyone else was wearing, which was predominately black. Now that I've got less projects and meetings, I'm a lot more relaxed in the way I dress. But also I'm a little proud to say that the way I dress when I'm about business is not how I dress normally anymore. I love colours and patterns and whats wrong with your dress sense reflecting that! Sometimes (and only sometimes) I think there should be more freedom to dress however you like without questioning if you look your age or if you don't look your age - Or if you can do your job properly in zigzag patterned trousers, Who cares!
