5 AWESOME WOMAN-Y THINGS I'M LOVING

It is now 00:01 and I am fully aware that I am late on posting this. National women's day was about a minute ago and I'm only publishing this now. But it's okay! I've claimed the whole weekend to be National Womens day. Actually scratch that, every minute that I'm alive is women's day. So with that said, and for a lack of a witty title, here are 5 awesome woman-y things I'm loving.

4. MUKAINTU.
I had the pleasure of being interviewed for Mukaintu blog which celebrates womanhood and chronicles the experiences of women all around the world. The questions were really thought wrenching and it took some time and self evaluation to figure it all out. Follow Twaambo on Twitter for awesome and insightful tweets. Check out the interview here

3.NADINE
This girl called Nadine, whom I met at a party last night. I danced for her whilst spilling my drink all over her lap and we talked about all things feminism. I love relationships that start off completely weird. I never said bye to her though.

2. MOXHAM - ALL AGES GANG
Maddy, a friend of mine and owner of Moxham Design has taken a new path for the business, which I'm entirely loving. The inclusion of diverse models for her company.

1. SMILE, BITCH
A final piece I created at Uni. This poster analyses the dialogue of how certain unsolicited advice can easily escalate to gender-based violence. I want to actively denounce the notion that street harassment is culturally accepted and that victims somehow "deserve" it because of their clothing, actions or attitudes. The final design was printed on pink silk fabric to counteract that women must negate from wearing “sexy” clothing to avoid street harassment.
