My hair was barely dry, So I slathered on some Hair gel and threw on the nearest kicks I could find. Unfortunately, they were my old Nasty Nike shoes. Super Classy right?
Have you ever seen a dress that is more "Sherida" than this one? As a matter of fact this whole outfit conjured up a 'hell yeah mate' from me (and to me) when I finished dressing. This oufit is hands down my favourite yet! Well, actually, apart from the nasty battered Nike shoes, which I absolutely abhor...And the stringy, damp messy hair which I threw together last minute because my wash and go wouldn't quite 'go'...And the makeup an atrocity, I found out my foundation had expired so was giving me me massive zits— and on top of that had to be partially done on the train...and the uneven rushed eyebrows, and the... and...Wait... *WhispersToSelf*; Be Positive, positive, positive. I digress... So apart from all the things that went wrong this day before meeting my friend aka Spice of Life, Sade, the day went so well afterwards! Of course this brightly coloured dress had everything to do with it too! As I've stated above, this dress is the perfect embodiment of what I adore in clothing. It's comfortable, goes with most of my jewellery, it's column-shaped and we all know I have an affinity for all things ruler-shaped and obstructing my waistline. It's the perfect length, in that I can match it with my trusty old Nikes like I have done here. Or I can pair it with some kick-ass boots or heels. It can be dressed up or down with a jacket and you can go all out or minimal with accessories. I'm definitely planning a style "how-to" for this dress, as the possibilities are endless! I think we all need an item clothing that people can instantly say, 'Hey! This is sooo you!'. It's always a little bizarre when people say that to me, but I also find it endearing and very thoughtful. Clearly attention is being paid! What Are Some Things That Are Clearly You? For Me, It's Chunky, Textured And Colourful Things.
