Creative Design Bloggers
This time last week (and a day), the guys at London Graphics Centre invited a few creative bloggers over for an evening of munchies, booze and goody-bags. One of the things Sam (LGC) said that really resonated with me, was the importance of creating a creative hub in London Graphic Centre, hence the bloggers night. We got taken behind the scenes (and secret stairways ooh)For my lovely readers outside London, the London Graphics Centre is an art and design supply store. More specifically, it's where I used to buy my art/design tools for University. Since graduating from said university, my commitment to going to art supply stores had fluctuated a little, which is why this evening was so nostalgic for me. Plus have a little over a dozen creative bloggers made everything 10 times better . My blog has been a hybrid of style, graphic design and opinion articles for so long, but for the first time, I met people with blogs who matched mine! Conversations were endless, laughter filled the centre, and it was an all round superb evening.
We each left with a goody bag with a 25% discount card and £50 worth of stuff! Fineliners, Promarkers, Fabriano notepads—Can you utter; stationary heaven!? But of course, I couldn't leave you hanging, not entirely. So if you're a creative student, then you're absolutely invited to the Student day on 6th October 2015. Expect a goody-bag worth £50 with every purchase and 15% discount. I'd love to sneak in and meet you guys, but they've seen my face already and I don't think they'd give me another goody-bag *cries*
